   Uranus / Planet - Giant / - the seventh planet from the sun.

m.  Opened March 13, 1781 in the constellation of Gemini / William Herschel /. At the suggestion of the German astronomer Johann Elert Bode, the new planet was named Uranus as the most ancient of sky gods, which is mentioned in Greek mythology.
